Mike is a seasoned consumer marketing professional with over 20 years of experience working for major media and publishing companies. He has diverse consumer product experience – developing marketing campaigns for a variety of consumer products ranging from music and books to DVD’s and collectibles. Mike is well versed in all aspects of business, including customer acquisition and retention, ROI management, strategic marketing and media planning.
Previously, Mike served as Vice President of Marketing at BMG Columbia House, overseeing the BMG Music Club, Club Music Latina, the Columbia House DVD Club and the Columbia House TV Club. Directing the strategic media plan development across multiple marketing channels – including DRTV, online, direct mail, telemarketing, and partnership marketing – the membership base tripled during his tenure.
Prior to his tenure at Columbia House, Mike served as Vice President of New Member Acquisition at Bookspan. Mike’ responsibilities included direct-to-consumer book promotions for over ten product lines covering all major communication channels. Product lines ranged from general interest clubs like Doubleday Book Club, Book of the Month Club and Literary Guild to niche clubs like Black Expressions, Club Mosaico and Christian Book Clubs.
Today, Mike is leading the way with strategic planning for ConvergeDirect, and provides non-traditional, out-of-the-box thinking offering ConvergeDirect clients a new perspective and fresh insight when considering media planning,
